Chocolate Oreo Pudding

Chocolate Oreo Pudding Recipe

100% chocolate. That is the perfect definition of this delicious dessert. If that is what you were looking for, do not hesitate to prepare this recipe. It is very addictive!

Ingredients:

For the base:

  • 300 g of Oreo cookies
  • 100g butter

For the filling:

  • 200 ml of whipping cream
  • 200 g of chocolate
  • 50g butter

To decorate:

  • Required amount of Oreo cookies
  • Chocolate chips to taste

Utensils:

  • Saucepans
  • Kitchen robot
  • Removable rectangular mold for oven
  • Wooden spoon
  • Electric rods
  • Spatula

For the base:

  • Melt the butter in a double boiler or in the microwave.
  • With the food processor, crush the cookies until they are like a powder.
  • In a container, mix the butter with the cookies until you get a homogeneous paste.
  • Cover with this mixture the bottom and the walls of a rectangular and removable mold. Press well so that it is as compact and equal as possible.
  • Take to the freezer while you continue preparing the recipe.

For the filling:

  • In a saucepan, pour the cream and heat it until it comes to a boil.
  • In a bowl, pour the chopped chocolate and butter at room temperature and in small portions.
  • When the cream comes to a boil, remove from the heat and pour little by little into the container with the chocolate and butter, stirring with a wooden spoon.
  • Mix with electric rods to form a smooth, shiny and above all homogeneous cream.
  • Take the mold out of the freezer and pour in the cream. Levels well and spreads over the entire surface.
  • Let it rest until it reaches room temperature (between 10 and 15 minutes).
  • To decorate, chop the Oreo cookies and spread them over the pudding. Also add the chocolate chips.
  • Put in the fridge at least a day before serving.

  • If you don’t have a food processor to crush the cookies, you can use a mortar or even a cloth and a rolling pin.
  • The filling should go to the top of the pudding, if you need it, double the proportions of the ingredients!  (it all depends on the size of the mold).
