1. Glass jars

It is very simple: in both cases you must have acrylic paint and brushes. For a final touch, you can add sisal threads tied around the neck or glued to the body of the bottle.

Finally, you can use them as vases with hand-painted motifs or also place a candle inside. This idea can be combined with the use of sisal yarn outside; then add a bow for the final detail, and voila!

2. Recycle cans to create centerpieces

Tin cans can also be used to beautify a space. In fact, due to their cylindrical shape and compact size, added to their solid structure, they can become very good ornaments. 

Here is a very simple idea: first, clean the can and paint it in the color of your choice; it is better if you give it two layers.

4. Plastic bottles

  • Cut the bottle in half. Next, cut thin strips at the lower mouth of the middle of the beak; They should go as far as you can cut.
  • Then open the strips outward. You should have something like a Chinese hat on you.
  • Cut a piece of the tube from the toilet paper roll and line it with paper or glossy glue.
  • Take a small glass bottle and, with glue on its neck, insert it through the spout of the plastic one.
  • Glue the cardboard cylinder to cover the two peaks. You can add a paper detail or tie a sisal thread to cover the edge.
  • Glue balls of tergopol of different colors to the ends of the plastic strips.
  • To finish, place natural flowers or any material and voila, finished centerpiece. If you are using real flowers, remember to add water to the glass bottle.

5. Cardboard

It is possible to make flower arrangements with recycled materials.

If you have a cardboard box that you don’t use, don’t throw it away. You can paint and decorate it to make beautiful centerpieces that will come in handy for any birthday.

For a children’s party, for example, you can paint the box yellow or another striking color and draw red stripes on the sides. Of course, it will not have a lid: inside you can place trinkets or balloons.

If it’s an adult party,  paint personalized messages on each one and add flowers inside. As you can see, it is an extremely economical, simple and easy option to carry out.
